The Parents of the Panhandle Information Network is currently seeking a part-time Parent Resource Specialist.

This position offers training and assistance to parents, professionals, and self-advocates on the educational system as it relates to IDEA. Qualified candidates must possess great organizational skills, be able to manage their time, and meet deadlines. He or she must be a people person who is able to communicate with people of all demographics. He or she must have experience with public speaking and must have a firm understanding of IDEA (Individuals with Disabilities Education Act). We need someone with strong computer skills, the ability to work from home with full internet access, and live within the area they will be serving. We are looking for a reliable and honest individual.
