You are invited to an Open House on Thursday, March 19th from 5:30-7:30PM atSaddle Up Stables for their newest program. Saddle Up Riding Club is offering to the families of Up With Downs of Pinellas a special barn time for all “special kids”. The class is for children and adults with Down syndrome from ages 7 to 21. Classes will be held the third Thursday of each month from 5:30-7:30PM. Participants will have an amazing opportunity working with and riding horses. From beginners to experienced riders, the riding and horse care session will provide participants with an opportunity to ride horses, share time with fellow riders, learn and participate in horse care and spend time outdoors. All participants are required to fill out and return all paperwork including physician’s release before they participate in the evening event. The fee for the on going events is $30 per participant.
Up With Downs of Pinellas can provide a limited number of families with financial assistance for this program. Please call Shirley Lawyer at 727-462-2274 if you are in need of financial help to participate.
